Description

The blade single sided with squared off end rising to a point. A recessed, baluster-shaped bolster is of octagonal section. The handle is of amber, made in two pieces; a facetted grip of oval section with a brass shim at either end; and a pommel formed as a (?) Roman Emperor, laurel-crowned head on a plinth with pendant labels. A silver-gilt lozenge-shaped button-washer and button, the former with stamped, raised pellets is at the top.
