Description

The scimitar-shaped blade has a decorative profiled edge of two long concave curves, the whole decoratively notched. The handle of steel is chiselled in four stages; the lower with a calyx of acanthus leaves, the next with two panels of mother-of-pearl scales applied to it, the next a Corinthian capital and the top an ovoid urn shape.
