Description

The blade straight-sided, the upper-edge tapering towards the point. The bolster covered with the silver of the ferrule which is engraved with imbrication. The ivory handle an adaptation of the pistol shape, the moulded end being covered with silver sheet also engraved with imbrication. A circular plaque with the arms of Saxony set into both sides of the end volute, surrounded by silver pique work.
