Description

231.01 Knife: Blade wide and slightly scimitar-shaped, with back edged for two-thirds of its length, and with a cut-back point; recessed bolster of rectangular section. 231.02 Fork: Head of steel with straight, sharply pointed tines, rectangular in section, forming an ogee arch at their base, on long, slightly flattened, tapering bottle-shaped neck. Handles pistol-shaped, with cast brass scales rivetted to wide tangs thinning toward the tops, decorated in relief, with arabesques, and chequerboard pattern panels; a finial is formed of a small double curl.
