Description

Folding knife and spike. Blade: exaggerated scimitar-shaped with straight back, deeply convex curved to a fine point. End is deeply concave with tie-foliate and cresped where it meets back. Long tapering spike with fine point. Backs of blade and spike are decorated with transverse incised brass and cusps. Handle of wood flaring at back pivot to a bulbous top. Deeply fluted throughout its length. Top has elaborate brass turned finial. Blades pivoted on iron rivet secured by knurled conical washers on either side.
