Description

Head made of steel in one with the handle, with two short, straight tines linked to the long, slender baluster neck by a small double moulding. Handle gilded, tapering, of flattened, pointed, oval section, linked to the neck by a short baluster moulding, the top cut off to a straight diagonal above a raised triple moulding; the broader faces are etched, with recessed bands of Renaissance foliated candelabrum ornament, involving a lyre and a mask, and the top with a rosette.
