Blade single-edged with leaf-shaped point. Handle of flat, oval section, tapering slightly toward the blade, and with a slightly domed top, bordered by a flange that projects slightly more on the side in line with the edge of the blade; it made in two parts: a steel ferrule 25mm deep, which slightly overlaps the base of the blade; a grip and deep cap-like pommel, cast in brass and covered with a design of foliage and flowers executed in what looks like applied brass wire (as for cloisonne), but apparently cast in one with the base; they are enamelled against a white ground in light and dark blue, green and orange.Collection
