270.01 - 270.04 Scalpels: Each has a different type of blade, Their handles are of ivory, long, flat and slender. 270,05 Scissors: Suture, plain standard form, with short curved blades. 270.06 Forceps: Standard spring steel form, long, with very slender, curved and pointed tips. 270,07 Lancet: Standard pattern with leaf blade between two tortoishell scales 270.08 Lancet: Blade with bulbous, sharpened extremity, folding between pinned tortoishell scales as in a standard folding knife. 270.09 Case: Wooden, covered with brown leather and lined with red velvet, fastened with two brass clasps; scissors fit into a shaped recess in the lid, held in place with a brass keeper; scalpels fit into slots, and there is a compartment for the forceps.
