276.01 Knife: Blade single-edged, widens toward a flattened-triangular point with a short baluster-shaped gilded bolster.
276.02 Fork: Head with two long undulating tines, mounted on a short neck of flattened octagonal section, itself supported on a short baluster-shaped feature like the bolster on the knife, all in silver-gilt; the base of the tines and the neck are decorated with a little hatching.
Handles: Tapering, circular in section, with domed tops, made of gold filigree scroll-work; through the filigree can be seen gold tubes encasing the tangs: buttons formed as rosettes are enamelled white and blue, picked out in black, with truncated-pyramidal gold centres.
276.03 Case: Wood (?), oblong in shape, with chaped ends and a hinged lid, covered externally in black shagreen, and secured at the front by two brass pivot-hooks; the inside is lined with orange silk, and contains recesses shaped to take the knife and fork individually.Collection
