278.01 Knife: Blade, single-edged with bolster formed as a recessed moulding; tip of blade missing, probably removed intentionally.
278.02 Fork: Head with two straight tines, and long spirally-twisted stem.
Handles: Silver in tapered cylindrical form, with domed tops: decorated with embossed acanthus foliage and pellets, and encircling double frieze, the lower part of standing figures of angels in ovals each holding aloft a ball in the left hand and a baton (trumpet?) in the right; the upper contains small figures of horsemen in classical dress under rounded arches, the background is sown with punched circles.Collection
