574.01 Sword: Tapering, hollow-ground colichemarde blade etched at the forte (etching worn), the hilt cast and chased in reliefwith panels containing sprays of conventional foliage and including double shell-guard, arms, rear quillon, and globular pommel. Wooden grip bound with twisted silver wire and silver ribbon. 574.02 Scabbard: Leather covered wood (leather renewed) with engraved silver locket and chape.
