Description

Trophy or award won by US Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 412, dated 1943-1944. Award for a Signaling competition. Consists of a wood carving of a sailor waving signaling flags, atop a dark wood round pedestal with silver plaque attached. Silver plaque reads: "1943-1944 / SIGNALLING TROPHY DIVISION 5A USCGA / WON BY FLOTILLA 412" (and lists team member names). Statue has an engraved/carved artist signature: "Brunner".
