A) Black and white photograph portrait of Clayton Hale wearing US Army Air Corps service uniform (items 2011.109.001, .002, and .004). Shows Hale seated, from waist up. Wears his pilot wings above breast pocket on jacket. B) Frame (brown leather), circa 1940s. Clayton Hale was a Wolfeboro, NH native and was the town's first casualty in World War II.
