Description

Army Air Forces stopwatch, Type A-8. Steel case. Black face with white numbering (1-10) and a smaller inset dial at top (numbers 1-5). White metal hands. Hardware at top for setting and for attaching to a chain (no chain present). Specifications engraved on reverse (very worn and faint): 'TYPE A-8 / SPEC NO 9427749 / SER NO A [ ] 428193 / MFRS PART NO 1778 / ORD NO WH-107AC-112 (45)".
