Description

Wallpaper samples portfolio, for interior design and for use as a shopping guide. Made by Sears Roebuck & Company, 1940. Color printed cardstock covers (red): "COLOR PERFECT / Wallpaper", "1940", "A DISTINCTIVE PORTFOLIO / OF / DISTINCTIVE WALLPAPERS". Portfolio opens to a three page spread, with each page holding about 25 stacked samples of wallpapers. Each of the three sections inside is labeled, from left to right: "ECONOMY GROUP", "BUDGET GROUP", and "DECORATING GROUP". Some installation guidelines and charts are underneath the wallpaper samples. Color illustrations of living rooms above each set of samples.
