Photo of Royal Robbins climbing the Half Dollar pitch of the Salathe Wall on El Capitan. Photo taken by: Interestingly you can see that Robbins climbed in tennis shoes, a brand called Treetorn. Salathe Wall was first completed in 1961 by Royal Robbins, Tom Frost, and Chuck Pratt.
