BG-2024.0168aDescription
This very sturdy wood-frame set dates to the boom years of backgammon in 1930-31. Distinctive features are the wide rails, the textured exterior, and the spring-loaded clasps. The flanges of these clasps stick up over the edge of the frame when the board is open, making them easy to spot even at a distance in photos of the period. The 1.5" checkers are a good fit for the board, but may not be original to it.Made/Created
