Thin straight blade etched with designs. Bronze hilt has eagle on the guard. Leather handle wrapped with wire. Nickel-plated scabbard has bronze bands with loops, a bronze tip and is inscribed on one side, "R.D. Williams / Adjutant 2nd Reg."
