This side chair is gothic revival in style and is made of quarter sawn oak. It has an arched back with a raised round molding. There is a recessed panel with spool-turned border molding containing a heraldic crest featuring a lion's head over a braid over the letter C in a gothic font. There is a carved floral crest on top of the chair. The seat is upholstered in a burgundy floral fabric. The seat has been mounted on hinges and lifts to reveal a plywood bottom that forms a small compartment. The fronmt legs are cabriole and the back are curved.Dimensions
