Natural wood handle (bark still on) with green/black straw tied at one end with red reed or other grass material. A cloth tag affixed to broom reads, "Berea College / Student Industries / Berea, Kentucky." A blue and white paper tag tied at bottom of handle reads on the front, "Witchcraft / Hearth Broom / Berea College / Student industries / Berea / Ky." On back of tag in red print, "This colorful hearth broom will add a cheerful note, we hope, to some corner of your home. It is one of a large family of clever and un-usual products made by students who earn while they learn."
