Wound gold watch with profile of Henry Clay on front and Ashland on the back with wind-up knob with loop through it at the top. Inside front and back lids are three hallmarks: a crown above the number "18" inside a square, a lion inside a square, and "G & S". These marks are above a stamped "5153". There are also several engraved numbers almost invisible to the naked eye. Inside on the clock works is "B.W. Raymond," "Adjusted," "Safety Pinion," the movement number "5046000," and "Elgin, Ill." The watch face is white, bearing Roman numerals and a separate face to measure seconds.Dimensions
