Description

A three-part metal connected by chain links. The top part is gold-color metal with enamelled confederate flags, the national flag, and battle flag flanking an image of "GENERAL R. E. LEE" above the word, "MEMBER." The reverse of this section has a simple pin-clasp. The middle part is gold-colored metal in the shape of a banner with a black enamelled background and the raised letters, "FORREST / CAVALRY / CORPS." The bottom section is gold-colored metal, diamond-shaped with scroll design around perimeter and a silver double-sided coin or medalet in the center. On the front is a raised image identifying, "GENERAL N. B. FORREST." On the reverse is a raised image of a confederate flag. On the reverse of the middle and bottom part, the manufacturer is identified, "Schwaab S & S / Co. / Milwaukee."
