It is a two piece ivory brocade satin gown consisting of a top and a skirt with a design of stylized leaves. The top has short puffed sleeves and each shoulder has a three-cornered bow of satin. The bodice is low cut with a loose lace collar which is sewn on one end and attaches with eyes and hooks on the other side. The top portion of the gown clasps with non-visible hooks and eyes. The lace hangs asymmetrical down to the pleated waist where there is another three-cornered bow. The collar is tiered and V-shaped. There are stays sewn onto the inside of the top. The lace continues down one side of the dress and has four more three-cornered bows. The lace panel also goes around the front bottom of the skirt. A ruffle is sewn inside the skirt above the knees.Dimensions
Dimension Notes
The shirt has a 28" bust line. The skirt is 13.37" in front and 56" long when measured down the back. The waist size is approximately 26." The original waistline was 20" but it has been altered.
