Description

Wool housecoat. Brown, light brown, red, and white plaid with reverse plaid inside. Green, yellow, and white braided belt with fringe is at waist. Same braid but smaller is used down, both adjust in front, around cuffed sleeves, shawl neck line, and both front patch pockets. Button belt loops found on sides. Also two front button closures. Inside at neck is satin silk hanging loop. At neck it reads, "Graves Cox Co. / MARK OF / Gra co / Quality / Lexington." On left side at bottom of inside edge it reads, " MADE OF / BEACON / BLANKET."
