Thin, rectangular, silver case with rounded edges and a hinged flip top witrh small push button to open. Etched with scrolled organic designs all over the flat sides. Engraved "H. Clay / of Ashland" in a cartouche on one side. The top is engraved, "J.O. Harrison, Lex. Ky." Hallmarks on the rim of the flip-top and top of case. Interior lined with brown material. Object contains an old note which reads, "Henry Clay's Spectacle Case / Left in his Will to / James O. Harrison."Dimensions
