A 12 gauge double barrel pin firing shotgun made by W.W. Greener and Co. of Birmingham England. The gun has a walnut stock and laminated steel barrels. The hammers, triggers, plates, and guards are all steel. The gun has a steel buttplate. The hammers are mounted on steel plates engraved with "W.W. Greener." Beneath right hammer is lever to open chambers for loading and unloading. Gun has steel trigger guard and two triggers. Barrels are laminated steel and are held together with steel rail that is stamped "William Greener Inventor of Laminated Steel." Wooden piece under barrels has brass pin that slides out to release barrels and dismantel gun into three pieces. Barrels underneath removable wooden piece are stamped "patent 13," with serial number, "11397," symbol of two pikes crossed over crown, symbol of elephant, and intials "CW." The plate that connects the barrels to the stock is also stamped with the serial number and crossed pike symbol.Dimensions
