A brass campaign medalet. One side shows bust of Henry Clay and legend "Henry Clay Elected Preseident A.D. 1844." Reverse shows boy on horse or mule back in front of a mill and says "The Mill Boy of the Slashes inaugurated March 4th 1845." There is hole at top for a ribbon.
