Description

Model of Inuit Umiak Boat. Boat has wooden frame and is covered in walrus skin. Boat has four figures with oars. etc. Boat has sail and rudder. There is plaque on boat that reads "Lady Franklin Bay Expedition." Boat and oars have ivory fittings. Boat rests in cradle stand made for it by Pete Andrew.
