Description

Wax miniature of Augustin de Iturbide, Emperor of Mexico (first Empire), presented by him to Henry Clay, c. 1822. The miniature is framed in a gold bezeled frame with blue enamelled loop at top for hanging. Miniature is in original green leather case with paper label reading "wax miniature of Emperor Iturbide of Mexico presented by him to Henry Clay."
