Toilet case made from mahogany banded with brass bands. Top is inlaid with engraved brass plate monogrammed: "JE from a friend." Inside the lid is a velvet flap that folds down to reveal a leather document folder and removable mirror that could double as a very small desk. The red leather pocket is embossed: "Edwards manufacturer to the King, 21 King Street., Bloomsbury, London." The box has two levels. The top is a leather tray holding cosmetic bottles, jars, and small accessories. The bottom level holds glove and button hooks and related equipment. Only one or two such hooks remain.Material
