Henry Clay is driving a carriage labeled "Constitution" with his runningmate Theodore Frelinghuysen trumpeting at the rear. The carriage is being pulled by horses with the faces of John J. Crittendon and Daniel Webster. John Tyler is behind in a jester's costume driving a chariot. Martin Van Buren is portrayed as a fox in a broken down wagon with a broken down horse bearing the name of Andrew Jackson.
