Set of five silk purses awarded as prizes for horseraces. Purses B and D are in storage due to their condition. The other three are mounted in modern shadowboxes.
(A): A white silk purse with blue silk trim and white drawstrings.
(B): A purse made of four silk panels, two each of blue and white. It has a silk tassel highlighted by a red bow.
(C): A white purse with brown applique covered by sequins, with white drawstrings and a small tassel.
(D): A light blue and white purse made up of diamond-shaped pieces of silk.
(E): A white purse with a red stripe and sequins overall. It has white strings and white tassel
