An elliptical miniature on ivory in gold frame of Henry Clay. Image is watercolor and is a bust of Henry Clay. Clay is facing left and wearing a black coat, white shirt, and white crevat. Clay is quite youthful in appearance and has white, curly, wild hair and long thick sideburns. The miniature is in a plain rose gold frame with a loop at the top for suspension as a pendant or from a hook for display. The miniature resides in a specially made red leather case with hook and latch closure. The ivory on which the miniature is painted is backed with a piece of a playing card (a club).Dimensions
