Painting of the birthplace of Henry Clay on paper. Paper has been adhered to panel comprised of several horizontal boards held together by two vertical boards. The boards are rough and crudely finished. The picture shows a small house at the center surrounded by a white picket fence. There are trees around the house and on the lawn. Toward the lowr left corner three people are unloading a cart. At the lower right a man sits beneath a tree.
