1 gold locket containing two locks of hair. The locket is rectangular with rounded corners. It is gold with a monogram of raised, applied letters "CTR" that have been intertwined. The letters appear to be metal that is not gold. The locket is engraved on the reverse "From SER(?) April 20, 1891". The locket is hinged on the long side and opens to reveal the two locks of hair under glass, one on each side, The locks are bound with gold wire. Around the glass on the left the frame is October 24, 1852stamped "Henry Clay Board April 12, 1777 Died June 29, 1852". Around the frame on the right side is stamped "Daniel Webster Born January 18, 1782 Died October 24 1852". Locket is in a period wood box covered in very dark and light green leather lined with red velvet and cream silk (2017.011.0001B).Dimensions
