The plow is made of a light colored wood with brass and iron fittings. The two handles meet in a V and join a wooden connector behind the blade, The neck of the plow joins one arm and extends out over the blade. There are brass fittings at the top of each arm and a brass curved support with sprial ends between one arm and the neck conjoined to it. There is a wood dowel joining the two arms about one thrid of the way down the arms. The modlboard is brass and the edge of the blade is steel. There is a brass plate on the neck over the blade with a slot in it. There is a brass plate near the end of the neck that reads "Presented to the Hon. Henry Clay by H. Hays & Co. June 1, 1845." The neck terminates in an iron piece that wraps around the end of the neck forming three loops.Dimensions
