Reproduction of a lithograph of the packet ship Henry Clay. The ship is a three-masted vessel in full sail with other boats around it and a coastline in the background. The ship has people on deck. There is a pennant atop the amin mast and the American flag flies from the stern mast. The name Henry Clay appears on the fore hull of the ship. Beneath the image is the title: "Henry Clay Packet Ship E. Nye Commander." At the bottom center is the legend: "Published by S. Palmer, 55 Ludlow & 128 Fulton St. N. York." At the very bottom is the copyright: "Entered according to act of Congress in the year 1845 by S. Palmer in the clerk's office of the District Court of the Southern Dist. of N. York." In the lower left corner is the artist's name and in the lower right is the engraver.Dimensions
