Colored lithograph depicting Henry Clay Jr.'s death in the Mexican War. Clay is shown fallen with a sword in his right hand and his pistols in the left hand. He is among a group of his men, all wearing blue jackets and one holding a green, white, and red Mexican flag. The battle continues on in the background to the left of the image.
