Black paper cut-out depicting bust of Henry Clay's left profile, identified beneath as "H. Clay." Signed "Beatrix Sherman" under shoulder. Cut-out is adhered to off-white paper background. In a black oval frame with gilded inner lip and a brass ring screwed into the top for hanging; frame is probably original. Adhered to backboard is a partial paper label reading, "--trix Sherman Silhouette".
