Coin silver, ewer-shaped, footed on a square base with elaborate foot at each corner. Very elaborate detail. Organic design handle and bands around circumference of urn. Beadwork around the spout. Engraved on three sides: left--"The / Mechanic Arts. / Cherished and supported by the / American System." front--"To / Henry Clay / From the Association of / Mechanics & Working Men / of the / City of Washington / July 4, 1832." right--"Liberty & Union / Now and Forever." Hallmark stamped on the bottom of the urn 5 times, "C. Pryse." Barely visible at the top and the bottom perimeter of the front cartouche are engraved marks, "Lanphier [?] [illegible]" and "C. Pryse [illegible] [illegible]."Dimensions
