Leather with hinged lid, with gold-embossed maker's mark "E. and W.H. Stokes / Louisville KY." Brass-studded bands around trunk and tooled with eagles and other designs in leather. Inside is lined with red and green velvet. Red lyre decorations and eagles on pocket on inside lid. Inner tray sits above main storage compartment. The tooled designs on the outside include Henry Clay, Lady Justice, Lady Liberty, a plow and a beehive.Dimensions
