Xare racket, xare is a form of Pelota and is played indoors. Made up of wood that is bent into an oval shape for the face and then together into a handle which is bound with heavy string and tied off. The middle of the face has netting which wraps around the racket 11 times in different sections. There are a couple markings by the handle on the wood one is the outline of the Basque flag and initials that say J.S. the back has a number that says 8.94. The racket has a slight bend at the head curving the net to be able to catch.
