Sunset Magazine "The Magazine of Western Living". June 1976 Issue. A Basque man is on the cover; serveral articles on the Basques: "Basques in the West" (pg 62-5), "How Do the Basques bake sheepherder's Bread" (pg 66-67), "Basque Old-Fashioned Pit-Baking Can Be Fun" (pg 67), "We Scale Down a Big Basque Picnic" (pg 140-1), and "Making Basque Sausages" (pg 142-3). At the time the magazine cost 75 cents. The basque man on the front is in a blue button down shirt with a red scarf and red beret. he is holding a pot with bread in it. The background is full of trees. The back has an ad for Zee "Nice'n Soft" it has a creepy blond doll in a blue hat with a yellow and green bow hugging a four pack of toilet paper. The magazine is held together by three staples, along the left side.
