The American Thread spools; one each: 6985 Mightnight, V2003 Scarlet, V.2082 May Rose, and V.6182 Wireless; were from the Chester Manufacturing Company. When they began, they made children's coats under the name of Franette Sportswear. Later, they made children's outfits.

The spools were from the Chester Manufacturing Company when they made children's coats. This was from 1949; in fact, every girl wore the same coat to St. Columba's. They all liked the coat, which was grey with wine piping. It was in 1955 that they began under the name of Franette Sportswear, and they made children's outfits.Collection
