TRAVERSE CITY - Evelyn M. Parr, 93, of Traverse City, passed away Friday, June 27, 2008, at Grand Traverse Pavillions. She was born July 5, 1909.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Carol J. (Jan R.) Hale of Traverse City; two grandsons, David D. Hale of Houghton and Matthew J. Hale of Traverse City; and a brother, Richard Gillson of Texas.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Ward K. Parr; a son, David Parr; a sister, Geraldine Beechler; and three brothers, Ellsworth, Robert and Walter Gillson.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Evelyn's life will take place at a later date.
The family wishes to thank Evelyn's caregivers at Grand Traverse Pavillions for their loving kindness to our Mom and Grandmother.
