Mina "Minnie" Frost MRS. MINA FROST OLD EAGLE RESIDENT DIED AT HOME OF HER DAUGHTER IN TECUMSEH--BURIED IN PORTLAND The remains of Mrs. Mina Frost were brought to Portland, Thursday, Apri 12, from Tecumseh, and taken to the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary Whitlock. Funeral services were held at the Congregational church on Friday afternoon, Rev. W. H. Sketelbury, officiating. Burial was in Portland cemetery. Mrs. Frost was for 30 years a resident of Eagle township, living on a farm south of Brokaw's corners. Her husband died there October 2, 1908, and she then moved to Grand Ledge where her daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Dravenstatt resided. A few months ago the daughter married John S. Temple and the family went to Tecumseh to live. Mrs. Frost was first taken with the grip, which developed into pneumonia, causing her death Tuesday last. Mina Whitlock was her maiden name, and she was born in Huron, N. Y., March 24, 1835. She married Martin Frost January 10th, 1856, at Red Creek, N. Y., and in 1880 they came to Portland. In the fall of the same year they moved to the farm in Eagle, remaining there until Mr. Frost's death. Clinton Republican April 19, 1917 Page 1, Col. 5
