Formidable in battle on land and sea, Diomedes was celebrated as a hero of the Trojan war. In Homer's Illiad, Diomedes ranks with Ajax and Achilles as among the greatest Greek warriors. Later, he became King of Argos and is said to have founded ten Italian cities.Made/Created
