One pair (of three; see G2011.026, 028) of hand-knitted fine white cotton gloves with beaded floral decorations worked on the back of the hand. Fancy single shell stitched border on cuff. The little finger is knitted to overlap the next one. Little gussets between the fingers. This pair is smaller than G2011.026ab. The backs have a large pink rose with foliage and smaller flowers. Beneath the cuff is a beaded border of a vine with red fruit, speculated to be either raspberries or strawberries. A border surrounds the thumb seam, made of bands of the different colors of beads. Other bead colors are opaque pink, transparent pine green and amber.Collection
