The building known originally as the Bracker Tavern is a Pivotal Structure located at 40 Village Square.
This building has continuously served Glendale residents and travelers since its establishment as the Bracker House Inn. Many interesting tales are associated with the Tavern. During Prohibition, the tavern became more a restaurant serving full meals in front with slot machines and liquor in the back. Overnight guests in the Village jail were fed breakfast prepared at the Tavern.

Another renovation was done c. 1952. The owners at that time were Bill McConnell and Frank Davis. Jim Stewart served as manager.
A complete remodel was done in 2008. The owner is Robin Thomas.Lexicon
