Description

The steamer SE Spring, a side-wheeler steamboat, run aground on rocks by Mead's Point due to a navigational error; a few days latter a high tide and a tugboat allower her to be freed from the rocks and resume picking up vegetables from the Lower Landing in Cos Cob and from Greenwich Harbor's docks.
